here are the 2010 NBA playoff predictions for the first round:
denver nugggets over utah jazz in 7 games. the nuggets have an excellent home record this season . the jazz couldn't seal the nothwest title when they had the chance and carlos boozer may not be healthy.
phoenix suns over portland trail blazers in 5 games. portland does not have brandon roy who is out with a knee injury. the suns have steve nash and went 23-7 after the all star break.
san antonio spurs over dalllas mavericks in 7 games. we always pick the spurs around here. these teams are about even. even though the mavs have had thre edge lately, we like tim duncan.
los angeles lakers over oklahoma city thunder in 6 games. expect the lakers to have one or two games that are letdowns. the lakers need to avoid injuries in what should be a physical series. oklahoma has kevin durant the youngest ever nba scoring champion.
o.k.c. will check kobe hard. good tough basketball series. no cakewalk here in the first round for lake show.
boston celtics over miami heat in 6 games. this celtics unit is still a great team but they need to play better. the celtics have won 11 of 12 meetings against the heat. d wade could pull the upset for miami otherwise it's celts.
atlanta hawks over milwaukee bucks in 6 games. the hawks have the slight edge here, and the bucks star guard andrew bogut is out with injury.al horford could put up some more double doubles to help the hawks.
orlando magic over charlotte bobcats in 5 games. charlotte doesn't have the depth at centre to stop the magic offense - making it easy for vince carter and rashard lewis to to operate.
cleveland cavaliers over chicago bulls in 7 games. lebron james and the cavs are too much for the bulls but we are callling for a rough, scrappy series with great shooting. can it really go 7 games?- east coast.
