here are the first round matchups for the 2010 nfl playoffs,
afc
new york jets 9-7 at cincinnati bengals 10-6
expecting cold weather to sap the offences in this game. so who's luckier? the jets.
jets 13 bengals 10

baltimore ravens 9-7 at new england patriots 10-6
this is the best chance for the ravens to beat the patriots with wes welker out and tom brady injured ribs. but the patriots are unbeaten
at home and the ravens are lousy on the road 3-5 this season. even though joe flacco is great and as dangerous as the ravens defence is the patriots actually hit harder. prediction: patriots 24 ravens 17

nfc
green bay packers 11-5 at arizona cardinals 10-6
there has to be a reason why the packers believed aaron rogers could replace brett favre. indeed the packers quarterback has shown he is ready to move up to the next level. he will usher out the kurt warner era as the cards are a good team but not a great team and the nfc west is a joke this season again.
prediction packers 34 cardinals 17

philadelphia eagles 11-5 at dallas cowboys 11-5
the nfl is all about quality. how can the cowboys blow out the eagles last week and then lose at home in the playoffs? they can't.the cowboys are a great franchise with tony romo,austin,good running game and brookings and the rest they have formed a winning identity and a playing to win for coach wade phillips.eagles donovan mcnabb earned his contract last year.
prediction: cowboys 24 eagles 20

i'll go bengals over jets 34-11
packers over cardinals 31-27
cowboys over eagles 24-14
and ray lewis and the ravens over patriots 17-10,
it's over tom brady! it's over!!!!!

like many americans i really enjoy the nfl playoffs and i would remind those folks who have been busy this week, that the games start on saturday (tomorow)
here are my picks
cincy to beat the jets
take the pats in a close one against the ravens
green bay to beat arizona
and i really believe that the eagles can come back from that bad performance last week and win over dallas

those are my thoughts, if i'm wrong so be it, the buck stops with me.
