Word on the street is that Hockey Canada is banning any player who plays for the GONG SHOW, aka, the WHA, from playing for any Hockey Canada sanctioned team for the year they are playing and one additional year. Doesn't seam that RS will have anything to stike back with. Maybe this will be the final bullet. We can only hope!!

our control centre does not see that happening.
that would be a very problematic proposition with no upside.
competition always exists in all forms. dirty pool, such as the banning of young players will not occur. it's simply not nec.

the battle between the 2 leagues continues to rage on however with offer sheets flying back and forth for free agents. the WHA is getting a lot of momentum from RS'S new european connections. RS is said to favor Sweden as the site for the WHA World Bowl!

WE'LL HAVE COMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE LEAD UP TO THE BIG WHA WORLD BOWL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Was at the town council meeting this morning and the WHA is Not playing in Osoyoos this year. Gary Scott tried to get the town to over turn there previous descission but it never happened the town voted for them Not to be here anymore. Nice try Gary Scott but nothing has changed in the last 2 years so why would council think it is going to be any different because you are back. They never bought your story about things being different. Congrats to the town for sticking with there original plan of not letting them back in.

The WHA is a has been. It will not be on the ice next year. No town is going to let them in as they screwed more towns this year by not playing this year and there will not be enough players for this so called hockey league that has no money, no bus and no class.

well this haveakokanee individual makes some good points about needing to be accountable. and let me say that being in a war with the PIJHL is not the way to make friends in the community. as my mother used to say "you are more likely to catch bees with honey". and i think needs to sweeten himself up a bit. this is not the kind of attitute change that we were hoping for.
